Meeting    March 3    2010

Meeting was called to order by Mr. Buck, President

Treasury report by Danny Boyce.

Current Balance $ 869.11
Dues are due April 30
Land rent was going up
He reported the club can purchase new insurance for $968.00
A motion was made by John Williams to go with the new insurance, David Atkins 2nd the motion. The motion carried.

Hunt Master report by Wade Yates

Wade gave the harvest report for where the bucks were killed.
20 bucks killed in the Mingle
2 bucks killed Danny’s
5 bucks in the Clark woods
4 bucks in the tailor woods
Wade said bottom line ˝ the bucks were killed in the Mingle.
Work day was cancelled for the following Sat.
Wade said the work day would be decided in June.
 
 New Business

 Land owner dinner cost $871.00 last year.,
 Mr. Buck asks for discussion. There was none. Land owner supper was approved.
 Agreed to have a meeting in May.

From last meeting about archery hunting .still hunting in the Mingle, and the bigger bucket rule. Paul suggested putting a 13” size limit on bucks ILO the bucket rule.
Paul made a motion to raise the size limit to a 13”buck. 13” to the outside,
John Williams 2nd the motion.  The motion carried.
  
  





 


New Business
 
Shawn talked about a fund raising opportunity for the club using the fox pen that Danny Ray and he manages. The club would help with 5 field trails ( judging )and the club would get profits from  a money hunt field trail. Ben volunteered to contact member for judging. Paul made a motion to have the field trials and Tommy 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 

Paul made a motion to have a $50.00 fine per hunt for members that don’t judge 2 hunts. John Williams 2nd the motion. The motion carried.
 
A motion was made by Tony and 2nd by David to have the money hunt August 21.
The motion carried. The hunt will be a 60/40 split.
