Meeting was called to order by Carl, Vice President

Treasury report by Danny Boyce.

Current Balance $ 893.11. He stated that the balance at the end of the previous year 12/31/08 was 1,859.00. He gave some expenses for the year

Hunt Master report by Wade Yates

Wade gave the harvest report for the 2009 season
103 deer killed 
50 does
47 bucks
6 button bucks
Miss money was collected from the members at the meeting.  
Wade will give a report of where all the deer were killed at the next meeting.
 
 New Business

Wade spoke about the Albemarle Houndsmen Association and encouraged members to get their money in.
Danny spoke about our expenses he gave examples: Land owners dinners, Insurance and
Land rent. Danny said If we keep the dues the same we may need to look at ways to cut costs. Danny suggested reviewing our insurance coverage and or dropping coverage if the policy was not feasible for club. He also said our steak dinners are costing the club and we may need to raise the amount from $5.00 to $10.00 per member to cover the cost. The membership agreed. 

Danny ask Carl to meet on reviewing the insurance policy to see what coverage we have.
 
Danny Ray talked about getting rock from the ballpark and putting it on the paths. It was agreed to get the rock on the 1st sat in March. The 6th.
 
Members discussed having more meeting to get together and eat through out the year.

Nominating committee recommended keeping the same officers. 

David Bankston spoke about a N.C hunting commission meeting on Jan 19.

David also asks for discussion about changing the bucket rule for traditional archery hunting to allow the hunter to take any deer of choice. He made a motion to allow this but it was tabled for the next meeting.
John Willaims spoke on a bigger buck rule in the mingle block for still hunting.
These issues were tabled for the next meeting.
